We’re looking for a talented Credit Control Officer to work for a growing team in Coventry.
We are looking for someone with previous experience in credit control and confident in a customer facing role.

The Role:
In the Credit Control Officer role you’ll be primarily responsible for managing and controlling a portfolio with the intention to reduce bad debt and mitigating any risks of late payments.
You’ll spend part of the working week in the company’s Coventry office. For the rest of the week you will be working from home.
In the job you’ll be tasked with the following:
– Chasing all overdue payments via phone, email, letters in line with the set policies
– Monitoring the credit control inbox and dealing with queries
– Providing good relationship management e.g. Onsite client visits and courtesy calls
– Completing initial legal paper work and identify unresolved and high risk cases to the Head of Operations
– Providing support to senior management of credit risk and age debt

The Candidate:
The ideal candidate for this Credit Control Officer role will have relevant experience of working within a finance organisation.
You’ll also need experience of a Credit Controller role (B2B ideally) and customer service.
In addition, you’ll need the following:
– Excellent communication skills
– Any credit or finance related qualifications
– Good skills in MS Excel and word
The ideal person for the role will be the following:
– Able to travel to the Coventry office a couple times a week
– Confident and a strong team player
– Flexible and adaptable under pressure

Basic salary: Up to £26,000 per annum
