Finance Manager Full Time Permanent

The Role:
In the Finance Manager role you’ll be primarily responsible for supporting the Senior Finance Manager in managing a specialist team within financial accounting.
You’ll report to the Senior Finance Manager and will be tasked with the following;
– Managing a team of up to 3 and mentor staff
– Managing direct reports to meet deadlines
– Identify process improvements across the department
– Ensuring the financial controls framework is operating efficiently
– Take owner ship of finance business partnering between HR and the accounting teams

The Candidate:
You’ll also need experience of:
– Delivering compliance of internal and external accounting policies
– Team management
– Reporting complex technical data for stakeholders
– Business partnering
In addition, you’ll need the following:
– An accounting qualification ACA/ACCA/CIMA with 1-3 years PQE
– Excellent time management skills
– Good analytical skills
– Strong communication skills and be adaptable
The ideal person for the role will be the following:
– Able to travel to the Ripon office a few days a week
– Able to work autonomously whilst being a productive member of a team
– Organised and detailed in your approach to work

Basic salary: Up to £45,000 per annum (depending on experience)
