“The objective of financial reporting is to track, analyse and report your business’ income. The purpose of these reports is to examine resource usage, cash flow, business performance and the financial health of the business. This helps you and your investors make informed decisions about how to manage the business.” – Xero
Heading up a sizeable team, your main objective is to tighten the controls and improve the accuracy of the reporting for the finance function, providing the business leaders with the vital information they need to make the correct strategic movements.
The business is unique in it’s operation with not many like it, especially nearby. So you won’t be currently sat in a competitors office, wondering what life was like on the other side. Instead, you’ll have robust experience in improvement of reporting, increasing controls, leading a team and developing people. No matter the industry, the figures will speak for themselves, as will your achievements.
In terms of qualification, we’d like you to be ACA or ACCA qualified, ideally from a large practice background, to show you have the foundations needed to undertake this task. If you don’t have this background, that’s fine, it’s up to you to evidence you’re able to achieve and deliver the objectives of the team throughout your career.
Salary is listed, benefits are extensive and a full job specification is available, should you want it.
